Personal data privacy policy

This Personal Data Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) applies to all information that LANIA.GG, located at the domain name lania.network (also “LANIA”, “LANIA.GG” or the “Service”), may obtain about the User while they use the LANIA website, the Service’s programs and products.

0. Terms

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms below, as used in the Privacy Policy, have the following meanings and definitions, both in the plural and in the singular:

• “Website” — the website on the Internet located at lania.network;

• “Game server” — the game servers owned by LANIA, accessed through the Website and maintained by the LANIA administration for the video game “Minecraft” by the developer Mojang AB, which are also an integral part of LANIA;

• “Website administration” (the “Administration”) — authorized LANIA staff who organize and/or carry out the processing of personal data, develop and maintain the Website and Game servers and moderate them, and also determine the purposes of processing personal data, the personal data to be processed, and the actions (operations) performed with personal data;

• “Personal data” — any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable individual (the personal data subject);

• “Processing of personal data” — any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without automation tools on personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, changing), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion and destruction of personal data;

• “Confidentiality of personal data” — a requirement, binding on the Administration or any other person who has gained access to personal data, not to allow its distribution without the consent of the personal data subject or another legal basis;

• “LANIA website User” (the “User”) — a person who has access to the Website via the Internet and uses the information, materials and content of the LANIA website;

• “Services” — LANIA and its subsidiary services, owned in part or in full by LANIA.GG;

• “Cookies” — a small piece of data sent by a web server and stored on the user’s computer, which the web client or web browser sends back to the web server in an HTTP request each time it tries to open a page of the corresponding website;

• “IP address” — the unique network address of a node in a computer network through which the User accesses the Website;

• “Subscription” — the opportunity for the User, for a fee and for a limited period of time, to obtain the right to access the Game servers for a Character, as provided by the developers Mojang AB, and to use additional non-activated data and commands on the Game server.

1. General provisions

1.1. The User’s use of the LANIA service means consent to this Privacy Policy and to the terms of processing the User’s personal data.

1.2. If the User does not agree with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using the LANIA website.

1.3. This Privacy Policy applies only to the LANIA website. The Service does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites that the User may visit through links available on the online store’s website.

1.4. The Website administration does not verify the accuracy of the personal data provided by the LANIA website User.

2. Subject of the privacy policy

2.1. This Privacy Policy sets out the Website Administration’s obligations not to disclose and to protect the confidentiality of personal data that the User provides at the Website administration’s request when registering on the Website and/or placing an order to purchase Content, Digital goods (also - Goods), Subscriptions and other services.

2.2. The personal data allowed to be processed under this Privacy Policy is provided by the User by filling in forms on the Website and includes the following information:

• Minecraft login;
• email address;
• addresses of the User’s linked social networks (if provided);

2.3. The Website protects data that is automatically transmitted when visiting pages:

• IP address;
• Information from cookies;
• Browser information
• Access time;
• Referrer (address of the previous page).

2.4 Disabling cookies may make it impossible to access parts of the website that require authorization.

2.5. The Website collects statistics on the IP addresses of its visitors. This information is used to prevent, detect and solve technical problems.

2.3. Any other personal information not listed above (purchase history, browsing history, browsers and operating systems used, etc.) is securely stored and not distributed, except in the cases provided for in clauses 4.2 and 4.3 of this Privacy Policy.

3. Purposes of collecting the user’s personal information

The Website Administration may use the User’s personal data for the following purposes:

3.1. Identifying a User registered on the Website for subsequent authorization, purchasing a Subscription and/or additional services, and other actions.

3.2. Giving the User access to personalized data on the Website.

3.3. Establishing communication with the User, including sending notifications and requests related to the use of the Website and the provision of services, and processing the User’s requests and applications.

3.4. Confirming the accuracy and completeness of the personal data provided by the User.

3.5. Creating an account for using parts of the website and/or making purchases, if the User has agreed to create an account.

3.6. Notifying the Website User by email.

3.7. Providing the User with effective customer and technical support if problems arise when using the Services.

3.8. Providing the User, with their consent, with product updates, special offers, pricing information, newsletters and other information on behalf of LANIA or LANIA’s partners.

4. Methods and periods of processing personal information

4.1. The User’s personal data is processed by any lawful means, including in personal data information systems with or without automation tools. The periods of processing and storing personal data are determined by:

• the limitation period;
• other requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

4.2. The User agrees that the Website administration may transfer personal data to third parties, in particular postal service organizations, telecommunications operators and fiscal data operators, solely for the purpose of fulfilling the User’s order placed on the Website.

4.3. The User’s personal data may be transferred to authorized state authorities of the Russian Federation only on the grounds and in the manner established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

4.4. If personal data is lost or disclosed, the Website administration informs the User about the loss or disclosure of personal data.

4.5. The Website administration takes the necessary legal, organizational and technical measures to protect the User’s personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, and other unlawful actions of third parties.

4.6. The Website administration, together with the User, takes all necessary measures to prevent losses or other negative consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the User’s personal data.

5. Obligations of the parties

5.1. The User must:

• Provide the personal data needed for LANIA to fulfill its obligations.
• Update and supplement the provided personal data if this information changes.

5.2. The Website administration must:

• Use the information received solely for the purposes specified in section 3 of this Privacy Policy.
• Keep confidential information secret, not disclose it without the User’s prior written permission, and not sell, exchange, publish or otherwise disclose the User’s personal data, except as provided in clauses 4.2 and 4.3 of this Privacy Policy.
• Take precautions to protect the confidentiality of the User’s personal data in accordance with the procedure usually used to protect this kind of information in existing business practice.
• Block the personal data of the relevant User from the moment the User, their legal representative or the authorized body for the protection of the rights of personal data subjects contacts it or makes a request, for the period of verification, if inaccurate personal data or unlawful actions are detected.

6. Liability of the parties

6.1. If the Website administration fails to fulfill its obligations, it is liable for losses incurred by the User in connection with the unlawful use of personal data, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, except in the cases provided for in clauses 4.2, 4.3 and 6.2 of this Privacy Policy.

6.2. In case of loss or disclosure of Confidential information, the Website administration is not liable if this confidential information:

• Became public before it was lost or disclosed.
• Was received from a third party before it was received by the Website administration.
• Was disclosed with the User’s consent.

7. Additional terms

7.1. The Website administration may change this Privacy Policy without the User’s consent.
