This section explains how you can format your chat messages.

Text

You can use the following tags to format text in chat:

  • **text** → text
  • *text* → text
  • ~~text~~ → text
  • __text__ → text
  • ||he dies at the end of the stream|| → becomes hidden text that is only shown when you hover over it in chat.

Mentioning players

You can mention players in chat by writing their nickname with the @ symbol. Example: @keelfy.

The mentioned player hears a sound notification and their nickname is highlighted in chat.

Links sent to chat that start with a protocol (http or https) automatically become clickable.

Placeholders

You can send special codes to chat, which are shown as their actual value.

  • %ping% → Ping of the player who sent the message
  • %tps% → Current server TPS
  • %online% → Number of players online
  • %coords% → Coordinates of the player who sent the message
  • %stats% → Health, food, armor and other stats of the player who sent the message
  • %skin% → Skin of the player who sent the message
  • %item% → Item held by the player who sent the message
