Skins
The server runs the SkinsRestorer plugin, so you can use your own skin without a licensed account. Licensed players don’t need to do anything — their skin is picked up automatically.
On the website
The easiest way to change your skin is the “Skin” card on the Cosmetics tab of the profile:
- File — drop a 64x64 (or 64x32) PNG and check the preview. The slim-arm model is detected automatically, and you can switch it;
- Licensed nickname — copy the skin of a licensed account;
- Reset — go back to your licensed skin or the default one.
If you are in game, the skin changes at once, no relog needed. Every season has its own skin: the change applies to the season selected in the cosmetics card. The website shows the same skin in your profile and in the community list.
Another player’s skin
If the skin you want belongs to a licensed account, its nickname is enough:
/skin set NotchYou can also open the /skins menu and pick a skin from the catalog.
Your own skin from a file
- Prepare the skin file: PNG, 64x64 (or the legacy 64x32), under 3 MB. HD skins are not supported;
- Open skinsrestorer.org/upload and upload the file;
- Check the preview and press Generate /skin url;
- Copy the generated command and paste it into the game chat.
If the file is already online and opens via a direct .png link, you can run:
/skin url "https://example.com/myskin.png"For slim arms (Alex model) add slim at the end:
/skin url "https://example.com/myskin.png" slimAlways keep the link in quotes. If you change the skin file, upload it again: the old link keeps showing the previous skin.
Editing your current skin
- Run
/skin edit— you will get a link to the editor in chat; - Change the skin and press Save;
- Right-click the 2D skin layout on the left and choose “Save image as”;
- Upload the file as described in Your own skin from a file.
Where to get or draw a skin
- Ready-made skins: NameMC , The Skindex ;
- Editor with 3D painting: Novaskin ;
- Any image editor (GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.net) with a skin template.
The inner skin layer must be opaque; the outer layer may use transparency (hats, glasses, etc.).
Reset and refresh
/skin clear— go back to the default skin (or your licensed one);/skin update— refresh the skin if you changed it on your licensed account but the server still shows the old one.
Common problems
- Black stripes on the arms — wrong model. Set the skin again with or without
slim; - Skin not applied — make sure the link opens a
.pngfile and the size is 64x64; - Rate limit error — wait a couple of minutes and try again.
